Research Abstract

本研究では、フェナレニルに六つの窒素原子を導入したヘキサアザフェナレニルを分子設計し、そのアニオン体の合成・単離および性質の解明を行った。また、ヘキサアザフェナレニルアニオンを有機配位子として用いたナノ配位空間を構築した。アニオンの前駆体であるヘキサアザフェナレンは市販品から四段階で合成し、これに水酸化カリウムを作用させることでカリウム塩を合成・単離した。このヘキサアザフェナレニルアニオンは、空気中でも安定なフェナレニル型アニオンの最初の例である。X線結晶構造解析からヘキサアザフェナレニルアニオンは、強固な平面構造と高い対称性を有する拡張π共役電子系アニオンであることがわかった。また、結晶水として含まれている水分子との放射状の相互作用による二次元シート構造と、ヘキサアザフェナレニル自身のカラム構造に基づく三次元ネットワークを形成していた。また、ヘキサアザフェナレニルアニオンの銅錯体の合成・単離にも成功した。X線結晶構造解析の結果、ヘキサアザフェナレニルは金属錯体中においても放射状に広がった相互作用とπ-πスタッキングを同時に取り得る新しい特徴を持った有機配位子であることがわかった。
さらに、置換基導入型ヘキサアザフェナレニルの有効な合成法を開発した。ヘキサアザフェナレニルの周辺炭素骨格上にtert-ブチル基を導入した誘導体を市販の化合物であるトリシアノメタニド塩および対応するアミジン塩酸塩から一段階で合成することに成功した。同様の方法によりトリフェニル体も得られた。また、モノ-tert-ブチル-ジフェニル置換誘導体の合成にも成功した。
