多層型銅酸化物高温超伝導体における反強磁性と超伝導の共存状態のNMRによる研究

Research Abstract

Hg系五層型超伝導体HgBa_2Ca_4Cu_5O_yなど多層型超伝導体では、電荷供給層からの乱れをCuO2面が受けにくく、層間でキャリア数に勾配ができる。そのため、平坦性に優れた均一ドープされたCuO_2面が実現する。HgBa_2Ca_4Cu_5O_y(Hg-1245(OPT))は外側のCuO2面は108Kで超伝導を示すが、内側のCuO_2面は60K以下で反強磁性金属状態になる。さらに還元アニールによりキャリア密度を減らしたHg-1245(UD)では内側の層は反強磁性秩序がより高い290Kから起こり0.67-0.69μ_Bのモーメントを持っており、72Kの超伝導を担う外側の層でさえも、0.1μ_Bの反強磁性秩序が存在し、同一層内で超伝導と共存する。一連の多層型高温超伝導の研究から、低ドープ域で反強磁性金属相の存在、反強磁性と超伝導の共存相の存在などを含む新しい磁気超伝導相図を明らかにしてきた。
最近行った(Cu,C)-1245の還元試料では、反強磁性金属が実現するキャリア密度に近いが、低温でキャリアの局在が起こることが分かり、多層型であっても乱れが大きい場合は、La系などで見られる相図に近い性質をもつことがわかった。さらに最近、頂点Fをもつ4層型超伝導体では、Cuの形式価数は2価のMott絶縁体であるにもかかわらず、超伝導を示す。ここでは、外側層から内側層へのキャリアの注入(self-doping)が起こっていることが明らかになった。
