Research Abstract

電子・光デバイスへの応用可能な機能性パイ共役ポリマーを有機金属化学の手法を用いて合成した。合成したポリマーは自己集積もしくは界面上における配列・配向に基づいた高秩序構造を形成していることを見出した。いくつかのポリマーでは、例えば3次非線形光学特性、レーザー発信機能などの特徴的な性質を示し、ポリマーの高秩序構造が電気的・光学的性質に大きな影響を与えることも明らかにした。
