Research Abstract

本研究では,位相ダイバーシティ・ホモダイン検波とディジタル信号処理を組み合わせた新しい光受信器を提案した。この受信器は,ホモダイン検波方式において通常不可欠な光位相同期ループ(OPLL)を必要としないとう特徴を持つ。OPLLに替わり,位相のトラックは高速ディジタル信号処理により行なう。これにより,M相位相変調(PSK)信号,直交位相変調(QAM)信号がコヒーレントに復調することができ,非常に優れた受信感度を示すことが示された。この受信器を用いて,20Gbit/sQPSK伝送,40Gbit/s 16QAM伝送に成功した。
