Research Abstract

特定領域研究(H17～21)の実施によって得られた研究成果の取りまとめを行った。具体的には、事後評価のための説明資料を作成し、これをもとに研究成果報告書(冊子体)の取りまとめを進め、ニュースレター最終号を発行した(印刷中)。具体的な研究成果は以下の通りである。
(1)2次元^3Heから銅酸化物高温超伝導体までをも包含する、多体フェルミオン系への粒子(キャリア)ドープがもたらす強相関効果の一般概念が提出された。
(2)強相関フェルミオン系に三角格子など幾何学的フラストレーションが加わると、局在直後にギャップレススピン液体状態という新奇磁性が普遍的に発現することが分かってきた。
(3)制限された空間に閉じ込めたボース超流体の研究から、局在ボース・アインシュタイン凝縮体(BEC)状態という新しい量子状態の存在を確立した。
(4)超流動ヘリウムと中性原子気体BECを舞台に、コルモゴロフ則が量子乱流でも成り立つことを示すなど、「量子流体力学」と呼べる新しい学問分野を創出した。
(5)スピン三重項超伝導・超流体の表面や界面に特有な近接効果や表面束縛状態の研究を進め、「奇周波数ペアリング」という新概念の理解を深化させ、マヨラナ準粒子状態を実験的に見出すことに成功した。
以上は、いずれも新しい研究潮流として、物理学、物質科学に大きなインパクトを与えることができた。
