Research Abstract |
To develop a lithium secondary battery electrolyte with using ionic liquids (ILs) as a safe electrolyte, new perfluoroanions were investigated to lower both melting point and viscosity of ILs containingaliphatic quaternary ammonium. Through the charge and discharge of a Li/LiCoO_2 test cell using various ILs, the structure of anion was the most important factor to achieve better battery performance using ILs.
