Research Abstract

心血管系細胞において、一酸化窒素(NO)は重要なガス状シグナル伝達物質であり、虚血性心疾患・心不全・高血圧などの病態に密接に関与する。私達は性ホルモンが非ゲノム作用を介して心筋イオンチャネルを制御することを初めて明らかにしたが、これには内皮型NO合成酵素(eNOS)を介したNOが関与する。一方、神経型NO合成酵素(nNOS)を対して産生されたNOは心筋電位依存性Ca2+チャネルを制御し、その制御因子の遺伝子多型(SNP)が心臓突然死のリスク因子となる。これらの致死的な不整脈発現と関わるNOによる心筋イオンチャネル制御の基盤となるトランスポートソームの分子実態を明らかにした。
