Research Abstract

本研究の目的は半自律型駆動機構と微細マニピュレーション機能を備える内視鏡ロボットの開発および実用化を行うことであり、多関節制御アルゴリズムを用いた内視鏡ロボット駆動部の開発、ロボットシステムの画像誘導・安全機構の開発、多自由度マイクロマニピュレーション装置の開発のサブテーマに沿って研究を推進してきた。平成19年度までに軟素材フィンの螺旋形状のねじ方向が逆になっている2つのユニットを前後に結合し, 互いに逆方向に回転することで推進する内視鏡ロボットを開発し, ブタ大腸直線部の走行に成功した. しかし,(1)湾曲部で走行できない,(2)腸径>フィン径で空転する,(3)腸<フィン径で腸がねじれる, という問題があったため, 平成20年度は.湾曲部を走行可能なフレキシブル機構, および腸径に合わせてフィン径を変えられる機構を有する新しい内視鏡ロボットを開発した. まず, フレキシブル機構としては, ユニットを先端部, 前部, モータ部, コネクタ部の4つに分割し, ユニット間をユニバーサルジョイントで接続した. そして, フィンの素材をシリコンから伸縮性に優れたセプトンに変更し, ユニット間が蛇腹状になるよう被せた結果, 死んだブタ大腸の湾曲部の走行に成功した. また, フィン径可変機構としては, 先端から2番目と3番目のユニット(前部・モータ部)のフィンの内側にバルーンを付加し, それぞれ独立に空気を送入・排出することで径を変えることが可能となった. さらに, それぞれのバルーンに通じる2つの空気管路のあるスリップリングを設計し, 電源ケーブルおよび空気送入用チューブがねじれないようにした. 実験後の内視鏡検査にて粘膜損傷のないことも確認した。また、画像誘導機構としては、大腸内視鏡の先端に磁気センサを搭載し、内視鏡画像の視野を検出する技術および、画像に診断支援画像を重畳表示するシステムを開発した。マイクロマニピュレーション部位に関しては7自由度マスタースレーブ型マニピュレータを開発してきたが、小型化の技術的課題を克服できず、内視鏡先端への実装や動物実験に適応可能な制作は今後の継続研究にて実施することとした。
