Research Abstract

海洋ブイにGPSを搭載し,津波の早期検知や波浪防災に資する研究を行った.沿岸から20kmを超える海域でも高い精度で海面変動をとらえられる目途を付けることができた.このほか次世代ブイに向けた基礎データの収集,沿岸住民への情報提供,気象観測装置の搭載による総合観測ステーションとしての実利用に道を開くことができた.また,数値シミュレーションとの併用による津波予測の高精度化に関する基礎的な検討を行った.
