Research Abstract

本研究では、一般の人でも手軽に測定でき、普段その変化に気づきやすい皮下脂肪厚が持つ情報を、様々な角度から見直し、それを利用した各種身体組成評価法を提案することを目的とした。その結果、皮下脂肪厚およびフィールドで利用可能な人体計測変数により、内臓脂肪面積や部位別(四肢、体幹)脂肪量に関する簡易推定式等を開発し、国内外のジャーナルにその成果を公表した。
