Research Abstract |
We developed the real time observation notebook with portable information terminal. Mainly, children and students on outside learning could express own observation data on their Web The record of observations is constructed on the Web in form of the clickable map, and this system will be useful for the hands on and the collaborative learning in the field work In addition, we considered the possibility of the educational use with the TV collaboration system which is used mobile technology. From the results of experimented the collaborative learning in the elementary school connecting Hokkaido, Kagoshima, and Okinawa, we showed the problems of communication and the reality as collaborative space for the children in the learning environment using TV collaboration system. Furthermore, we created educational materials which is based on the characteristic of each district, and developed educational materials and sharing systems using portable information terminal such as mobile phone. Then, we showed these system is very useful for the activity for the children in the school. Finally we considered of design of display for learning system from psychological experiment and revealed suitable expression of text and moving picture.
