Research Abstract

散逸構造の代表例である液晶電気対流系における時空カオス「ソフトモード乱流」について, 非平衡開放系のマクロ揺動とみなし, そのさまざまな性質を統計力学的な観点から明らかにした. その結果, 時空カオスを生じる非線形相互作用における対称性の違いによって秩序-無秩序転移が起こること, 時空カオスによる物質拡散において揺動定理が成立すること, その揺動を定量化するために温度が用いられることなどが明らかとなった.
