Research Abstract

金や銀のナノ粒子のプラズモン共鳴に基づく光吸収により、金属ナノ粒子から酸化チタンなどの半導体への電子移動が起こることを明らかにした。この電子移動を利用した光電変換デバイスや可視光応答光触媒、親水・疎水表面パターニング法、還元エネルギー貯蔵型光触媒、光応答膨潤-収縮ゲルを用いたアクチュエータを開発した。また、銀ナノ粒子-酸化チタン系の多色フォトクロミズムでは、その色変化に銀ナノ粒子の粒径・形状変化が関与していることを明らかにした。
