| Research Abstract |
1. In this research, we clarified situation of development at the suburb in the local city.
2. We clarified farmland diversion by the Agricultural Land Act and development trend by the City Planning Act 34-8-3 in Hofu-City.
3. We showed that technical standards in the City Planning Act are not enough to accumulate an ideal living environment.
4. We explained the target of future land use control, for Pref. Kagawa which abolished Area Division System on 2004 along with the amendment of the City Planning Act.
5. We explained the background of abolishing the Area Division and that fact, focusing on the application of Area Division in the Cities of less than 100,000 people.
6. We clarified the relation for commercial act between the Non-Area Divided City Yamaguchi and Area Divided City Hofu, which is adjacent to Yamaguchi.
