Research Abstract

本研究は、体節原基での分子発現のオシレーションの周期性が、体節分節化の時空間的周期性に変換される分子メカニズムを明らかにすることを目的として行われた. 空間情報を担うFGFシグナル活性と時間情報を担うNotchシグナルの振動が、FGFシグナルの抑制因子を介して結びつくことを明らかにした. また、NotchシグナルのフィードバックインヒビターNrarpが振動のロバスト性を担っていることを明らかにした.
