Research Abstract |
On this study, 67 case areas were chosen from the research area in the report on the cultural landscape in the countryside by Agency for cultural affairs. Beside case study areas were narrowed to 24 areas, and the landscape structures of each area were analyzed by using topographys and aerial photos. And the relation between landscape structure and the nature condition of each areas was examined. In these 24 areas, 4 rice field areas in the plane, Syonai, Tedorigawa, Izumo, Tonami were picked up and surveyed in detail. Each area has own landscape structure, and there is the difference in the degree of convergence of house, the shape of house forest, and the formation of roads. And it was considered that the condition of water and wind affects the landscape structure. And as the result of the survey on the system of conservation of historical landscape in Shirakawa-ogimachi and 0ouchi-juku, there is a limit to the existing system. The existing system conserves mainly elements of the landscape, but it was discussed that it is necessary to pay attention to a relation between the landscape element which shows spatial representation to reflect Village-Specific information (Identity of village) as well as landscape element itself.
