Research Abstract

土壌のない実験室系では根粒はN_2Oを吸収か非発生であるが、圃場ダイズ根粒はN_2Oの発生源であった。圃場を模した土壌栽培系とダイズ根粒菌変異株の実験より、nosZを欠損株は硝酸からN_2O発生を起こし、その硝酸は硝化細菌により供給されていた。ゲノム比較等により農耕地土壌のBJ_2クラスターに属するダイズ根粒菌は、nosZを欠損し、最終産物としてN_2Oを生成した。以上の結果は、少なくともダイズ根粒菌のnosZ遺伝子型と硝化細菌の共同作用により圃場ダイズ根粒からN2_O発生が生ずることを示唆している。
