Research Abstract

2002年に独立した東ティモールにおける戦乱孤児の心的外傷の実態を把握するために、心理面・身体発達・健康面から調査を実施した。生活の安定と共に身体発達・健康面に若干の改善が見られてきているが、心的外傷が慢性化し、不安感、空虚感と共に、不安定な感情状態に陥っている子どもも多くみられた。また、他者に対する不信感、人間関係を形成することへのためらい等の問題が解消し得ないままに残っていることが見出された。
