Research Abstract |
This research has aimed to construct the system to do the educational consultation support to Japanese children with special educational needs to live in the foreign country. We executed two investigations by this research. One is a questionnaire survey, and another is a field survey. The field survey was conducted by covering 21 Japanese schools. The fact and the problem of a Japanese school were clarified from these investigation results. The disabled child of the school age period has been increasing the requests for consultation relating to the education. However, Japanese schools abroad are established by local association of Japanese. There is uneasiness in the method of guiding the disabled child, because in a Japanese school, there is no teacher who has expertise and the guidance technology for the disabled child. Therefore, school requested the need for provision of supervision and the consultation relating to the guidance and educational equipment and a system inside the school. We were examining the use of ICT as a method to support special educational support education provided by Japanese school. On December 22, 2006, it hold a conference on special support education for Japanese schools abroad to exchange information with the aim of constructing network of such school.
