| Research Abstract |
配偶者看取り後の独居高齢者のQOLを再構築するプロセスを検討し、効果的な地域ケアシステムを明らかにする目的で、北欧のフィンランド、スウェーデンと日本の比較研究を行った。
配偶者看取り後の独居高齢者の生活の再構築には、1. 立ち直りに向かうプロセスをたどる、2. 気持ちが揺らぎながら生活を継続している、3. さらに気持ちの落ち込みがみられるの3つのタイプの共通の特徴がみられた。独居高齢者の支援に、3ヶ国とも別居家族のサポートが重要だった。北欧では教会におけるサポートが重要であり、また心身の不調を早期に把握し、対応する予防訪問が有効だった。日本でも、高齢者への予防訪問を制度化する必要性がある。
