Research Abstract

携帯電話などのバイブレーション機能が普及したことにより、触覚へ情報が提示されるという感覚を日常的に体験しているが、触覚への情報提示技術は情報伝達量の観点において十分ではなく、携帯性・利便性にも課題がある。本研究では、少数の触刺激素子で伝達情報量を確保するため、触覚における2種類の錯覚、ファントムセンセーションと仮現運動を同時に生起させ、これを統合的に知覚させることにより情報伝達する技術を確立した。触刺激素子間の仮現運動、ファントムセンセーション像と触刺激素子間の仮現運動、そしてファントムセンセーション間の仮現運動という3種類の仮現運動を利用して触覚へ情報を伝える技術である。
