Research Abstract

We investigated the earthenware that had been discovered in Niigata Prefecture before 1991. Our investigation targeted earthenware to which the character was written. We preliminary investigated in 2005. We took a picture, and traced earthenware and read the character written in earthenware from 2006 to 2007. As a result, it has been understood that earthenware to which the character of the same type was written was made collectively at the same time. And it is a valuable result of this research to have taken an accurate photograph of earthenware, and to have decided the age. The result of this research is a collection of not the thesis but an accurate photograph and data. A complete data base cannot be disclosed because cost and people are insufficient now. However, data is made to be able to be inspected if there is a demand from the researcher. And, the subsize of the sample of complete data and all other photographs is put on the result report.
