Research Abstract

10-16世紀のラージプート王権とその地方統治の在り方について、現地での未刊行刻文史料の収集を基礎に、刻文史料の様式、とりわけ勅書である銅板文書のそれに注目しつつ論究した。その結果、14世紀半ばに社会の在地化を指向する大きな変動があり、それに伴って14世紀後半以降の地域王権は、それ以前の地域王権とは異なり、地方語による銅板勅書発給をはじめ、地域に根ざした国家形成を模索したことが推測された。
