Research Abstract

A. BACKGROUND In recent years, there have happened so many scandalous affairs by not only private corporations but also public ones. Generally speaking, those affairs never happen if corporations act along with laws, common sense and social customs.
B. PROBLEMS (1) What and how should corporations disclose in their doing corporate communications to prevent occurring scandalous? (2) What is disclosure and compliance in school education?
C. FINDINGS (1) there is a information gap between corporations and consumers. (2) Disclosure gives mach merits to not only consumers but also corporations. (3) It is a common understanding among the press that compliance for newspaper report is not to follow laws but to be guided by the press norm.
D. SUGGESTIONS AND IMPLICATIONS (1) Corporations should disclose what consumers want to know. To do this makes corporations happy. (2) Home training and/or education, as well as school education, is very important to learn common sense, social customs and a norm for children. (3) The concept of "individual social responsibility" should be introduced to compliance education.
