The competitive employment of the individuals with autism is not easy. This has been pointed out repeatedly till now However, it is not made clear about the cause. Also, the study on vocational adjustment and maintaining a job is not reported. There is much quitting a job after the third year.
Where is the cause that the employment rate of the individuals with autism is lower than the individuals with non-autism?
That is the factor complicating on maintaining a job?
Why is vocational adjustment difficult?
What is the cause of the quitting a job?
The problems that must be settled pile up. We did this study to solve these problems
we conducted fact-finding in approximately 246 people of the quitting a job and 100 retired employee that graduated from a Special Needs Education School for children with mental retardation. We determined three points of the next.
(1) We determine the cause that competitive employment was able to realize, vocational adjustment situation.
(2) We find a cause of the quitting a job of 100 retired employee and a policy of the evasion.
(3) We make the model of the individual support plan to realize the competitive employment of autistic children and adult.
