| Research Abstract |
全児童対象の放課後子ども教室の設置が従来の放課後児童クラブとどのように関係しながら行われるのかを、地方公共団体対象の調査によって把握した。人口が多いところほど放課後子ども教室を実施しているが、その背景には強いニーズがある。両施設の関係については「連携」が望ましいとの回答が多く、「一体的」実施には賛意が少ない。放課後児童施設に関するスウェーデンの視察調査からは学校との統合、両親への子育て支援の確かさが児童の安全な放課後生活にとって重要であることが明らかになった。
