Research Abstract |
Under the research project with title Generalizations to Operator Theory of Shannon's inequality of Information Theory and its application, Takeaki Yamazaki (Kanagawa University), Michio Seto (Shimane University) and Muneo Cho (Kanagawa University) studied for three years. In this period, we invited II Bong Jung (Professor of Kyungpook National University Korea) and Chunji Li (Professor of Northeastern University, P. R. China) and studied this problem with them. On June, 2005, Professor T, Furuta had a talk with title "Reverce inequalities associated with Tsallis relative operator entropy and their applications" at International Linear Algebra Society 12th Conference in Canada and Professor H. Araki had a talk with title An analytic extension theorem, Borchers' structure theorem and their application to half-sided modular inclusions at KOTAC2005 in Korea. On July, 2006, Professors H. Araki and M. Giga had talks with titles Super-Derivations and associated standard super-potentials and Spectrum and principal function of operators at the conference, IWOTA2006 International Workshop Operator Theory and Its Applications, in Seoul, respectively. M. Cho visited Seoul University on November, 2006 and had a talk with title Numerical ranges of some operators. On July, 2007, Professor T. Furuta had a talk with title Applications of order preserving operator inequalities at 14th Conference of the International Linear Algebra in P. R. China. By this support, we wrote 16 papers. We express our cordial thanks for this Grant.
