Research Abstract

In 2005, the previous reference about bioterrorism and its control method was reviewed. Moreover, the bioterrorism agents, such as smallpox (virus), anthrax (bacteria), plague bacillus (bacteria), and botulism (toxin) which are the high pathogenic organ of a possibility of being used for bioterrorism, was summarized. And the Lethal Dose (LD50), incubation period, means diameter of bioterrorism agents was also summarized.
In 2006, the fact that airborne spores suspended in air are in the state of coagulation particles was clarified.
In 2007, the study on distribution of indoor air pollutants concentration by case of changing arrangement of the air inlets and contaminant source in the interior of a room was conducted. Furthermore, the experiment was also done of case where a pathogenic organ is indoors emitted in an air-conditioning system. Moreover, a study about the measure for securing a resident's refuge passage was performed supposing the emergency which generated bioterrorism.
