Research Abstract

A nonselective alpha-1 adrenoceptor antagonist prazosin protected methamphetamine-induced neuronal toxicity, while a selective alpha-lb adrenoceptor antagonist failed to do so. We conclude that the neuro-protective effect of prazosin is some unidentified mechanisms other than the alpha-lb receptor blockade.
