Research Abstract

癌抑制遺伝子のサイクリンキナーゼインヒビターp21の機能および発現制御機構解析を行った。細胞質局在のp21は、アポトーシスを抑制した。基礎的な発現には、分子内の15-48アミノ酸領域が必須であり、この領域とWIPp39をアダプターとしてHSP90が結合することでp21の基礎的な発現が得られることを明らかとした。P21の基礎発現は、DNA損傷に即応するために必須であり、翻訳後制御解析の重要性が示された。
