Research Abstract |
Retinoic acid-inducible gene-I (RIG-I) は、気道上皮細胞、血管内皮細胞、マクロファージなどの肺・気道の構成細胞で産生されること、また、ウイルスや細菌の感染により活性化されて、下流のケモカインの発現を調節することにより、肺・気道における免疫応答や炎症反応を誘導することこと、が明らかになった。さらに、気道における免疫応答のみならず、関節リウマチなどの自己免疫疾患の病態にも関与していることが明らかになった。
