Research Abstract

In this study, we could expand inhibitory NK cell receptor (CD94/NKG2A)-expressing CD8 T cells from G-CSF-mobilized peripheral blood mononuclear cells (G-PBMC), patients' derived autologous G-CSF-mobilized peripheral blood mononuclear cells (Auto G-PBMC) and cord blood by the stimulation of IL-15 and OKT3.
These expanded CD94 /NKG2A-expres sing CD8 T cells could attack HLA class I-low leukemic cell line such as K562 and patients' derived primary leukemic cells.
Also, it was reveled that activating NK cell receptor NKG2D and it's legand MICA/B were involved in the killing activity of CD94/NKG2A-expressing CD8 T cells.
