Research Abstract

切除可能食道癌に対する化学放射線療法症例の免疫染色結果と予後、局所制御の関連につき検討を行った。Ki-67ラベリングインデックス高値(40%以上)、VEGF、uPA の染色性が低い症例では予化学放射線療法後の生存率も良好で、局所制御も高率に得られていた。今後、高率に局所制御が得られる症例では化学放射線療法を勧め、それ以外の症例で手術を勧めることにより、無駄な手術、無駄な化学放射線療法の施行を避けることができ、全体の予後の改善も可能になる。
