Research Abstract

人工関節のサイズ・設置位置・角度などの検討や日本人の股関節で集めたCTデータ結果により、日本人に合った大腿骨ステム(Femoral saving stem,以下F-ステム)を開発した。このF-ステムは現在我が国で使用されている通常の外国製の大腿骨ステムよりずっと小さいプロファイルであり、大腿骨骨幹部を温存させることができる。骨頭径も36mmと大きいため安定性に優れており正坐や温泉に浸かる和式の生活が容易になると思われる。実際の手術では手術侵襲が少なくなり、術後脱臼などを軽減させると思われる。術後成績を向上させるための手術進入路や軟部組織の再建についても知見が得られた。
