Research Abstract

本調査は,全身的骨代謝異常に関連する顎骨特異的指標の解明,および口腔内の健康状態が,身体的活動量と骨代謝の関連に及ぼす影響の解明,を目的としている。75歳以上の後期高齢者を対象に,血清値,尿値,下顎下縁皮質 骨形態分類,咬合状態等の口腔状態を測定した。その結果,下顎骨下縁皮質骨形態分類は,全身の骨代謝を表す指標として有効であった。またEichner indexが運動機能との関連が認められた。さらに,唾液性状,歯周疾患,および根面う蝕は腎機能と関連していた。
