Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to present the method of the environmental education practice using regular measurement of the CO2 density in cooperation with the elementary school, the junior high school, and the high school. The main result is shown as follows. 1. Development of an environmental education program using regular measurement of CO2 density The network system is revised, and the measurement parts of 5 schools in the elementary school, 1 school in the junior high school, and 2 the enterprises have been increased. Real time and the accumulation measurement data of 12 places in total have been opened to the public in WEB now. They were useful that the basic data was spatially expanded in the child and the student's understanding the meaning of a familiar atmospheric CO2 density in a scientific manner. 2. Development of an environmental information contents There is a limitation at the class time which can be allocated to analyze the measurement data. Then, an initial version of an environmental information contents to analyze the measurement data quickly was developed. 3. Development of curriculum and teaching material for "Consecutive learning". In a present integrated study, there is no systematic curriculum from the elementary school to the high school. The curriculum and the teaching material were examined, and the text (elementary school version, junior high school version, and high school version) for environmental education was made for "Consecutive learning".
