Research Abstract

前年度に続き、大きい増感効果が認められたcoumarin系CD連結体を中心に、CDの構造および色素とCDの連結様式を調節して、計10個のcoumarin-CD連結体を創出し、構造を決定した。過シュウ酸エステル発光反応におけるこれらのcoumarin-CD連結体の増感効果について検討を行った。その結果、すべてのcoumarin-CD連結体はCDに結合していないcoumarinより強い発光を示すが、β-CDの連結体についてはαおよびγ体より効率が良く、また、色素がCDの二級水酸基側に連結したものは一級側の方より増感が高い。面白いことに、モノ体(coumarin-CD)はジ体((coumarin)_2-CD)より高い発光強度を示す。NMR、 UV-Vis、蛍光および円二色性スペクトル測定によってこれらの色素-CD連結体の溶液構造および相対的蛍光量子収量について調査した結果、全てのモノ体はcoumarinと同程度の蛍光量子収量を持ち、CDによる化学発光の増強効果が蛍光量子収量の増加ではなく主に色素の化学的励起、即ち、色素への化学エネルギー移動効率の増加に起源することが判明した。ジ体はモノ体同程度の化学的励起効率を示すが、強い励起子カップリングによる分子内消光を起こす。さらに、過シュウ酸エステルのモデル化合物を用いるNMR測定により、Coumarin-CD連結体が過シュウ酸エステルに類似した構造を持つモデル化合物と超分子を形成することを証明した。
