Research Abstract

本年度は平成18年度までの研究をもとに、三次元表示ディスプレイで術中の手術空間再構築が引き続き行い、また外科医にリアルタイム画像誘導手術支援を提供し、最低限の侵襲で外科治療を行うためのシステムを総括し、評価実験を行った。具体的には
1)高画質三次元画像の作成・表示によるインタラクティブな表示システムの開発
三次元Integral Videography(IV)用画像群を作成するには、従来のCGによるレンダリング技術を活用した画素分配法があげられるが、表示に要する時間が長いため、リアルタイム性や直感的な操作性が不足である。本年度はIV像の臨床応用化に向けて、Light Field Rendering技術を用いた全方向からモデルの前レンダリングを行い、ある目標視点で見たい画像が撮影した画像群から抽出し、IV用画像群の高速レンダリングを実現することにより操作性が向上されたインタラクティブなIVの表示システムを開発した。
2)実画像と内部臓器不可視画像表示システムの統合および外科手術への基礎的臨床応用実験
手術空間の実画像と内部臓器不可視画像の自動的な統合表示を構築するソフトウェア基盤を開発し、システムの統合を行った。各種モダリティーの医用画像装置から得られた画像データをそのモダリティーにあった形で表示する手法を提案し、また、治療に際して重要になる患者との重ね合わせにおいては、膝関節整形外科領域などにおける治療に適した表示方法、並びに精度について考察し、手術の要求仕様や具体的な使途、さらには手術シナリオにおける開発したシステムの位置づけなども検討した。
