Research Abstract

内包させるモデル物質として、一軸結晶異方性を有し、磁歪や磁気光学効果などの多様な物性の発現組成が物性発現に大きく影響を及ぼすために、合金組成を厳密に制御する必要がある。ここに、これら金属のアセチルアセトネート錯体のほか、DPM錯体、DMHD錯体などの異なる錯体を適宜選択することにより分解温度、蒸気圧をそろえた原材料を用いた。坦体としてはチタニアナノチューブの他に、希土類酸化物ナノチューブなどを利用した。これら材料を特殊溶媒中で均一になるように攪拌し、得られた混合物を特殊な雰囲気で所定の時間熱処理を行うことで、有機金属錯体の気化と分解を誘起させることで、複合体を得た。得られた材料の微細構造解析はTEMにより行い、この結果、直径5nmで均一な大きさからなるニッケル、パラジウム、白金、銀、鉄、鉄白金合金などからなる粒子が内包されていることを確認した。磁気特性についてはSQUID磁束計により行った結果、ニッケル内包チタニアナノチューブ材料において構造異方性に起因すると思われる磁気異方性の変化が確認された。
