Research Abstract

本研究では、超臨界流体の特異なメディア効果を利用する電解重合膜の高度な構造制御の手法を開発するとともに、得られた重合膜の特性評価を行い、電解コンデンサへの応用展開への道を拓くことを目的としている。前年度までの研究ではポリピロール、ポリチオフェンの重合膜を超臨界フルオロホルム中で電解合成し、そこで得られた導電性高分子膜は粒塊の存在しない均質で、しかも極めて高密度なもの(従来法の10倍程度)であることを確認した。また、超臨界流体の温度、圧力などの高分子膜の形質や物性への影響因子を明確にし、超臨界流体利用による高密度導電性高分子膜の作製のための基盤的指針も確立した。さらに多孔性カーボンフェルト電極のような複雑基体への電解重合を実施し、重合膜が多孔性フェルト内部のカーボン繊維1本1本に対して付き周り良く形成できることを見いだした。これに対し、今年度(19年度)は多孔性アルマイト基板への電解重合を実施し、これを用いた固体電解コンデンサの試作、特性評価を行った。その結果、超臨界流体中での導電性高分子膜形成時に、いくつかの条件を選択することで、一定レベルの特性を引き出すことに成功した。本成果により、超臨界流体を電子デバイス用導電性高分子膜形成の媒体に用いることの有用性を実証するに至った。さらなる大容量化を目指し、今後はさらに電解重合条件などを詰める予定である。
