Research Abstract

本研究の目的の1つは代数的符号理論、特に、自己双対符号の研究と、組合せデザインに関する研究を行うことであった。本年度は、自己双対符号の構成と分類に関する研究を中心に行ない、具体的には次の2点についての研究成果が得られた。
1. 2元体上の極値的重偶自己双対符号の構成
昨年度の研究で得られた新たな自己双対符号の構成方法を用いて、今までに存在の分かっていながった2元体上の極値重偶自己双対符号の構成に挑戦をした。特に、長さ112において初めての極値的重偶目己双対符号の構成ができた。この長さは24の倍数でない長さにおいて最小の存在の決定が未解決な長さであり,また,約25年ぶりに新たな長さでの極値的重偶自己双対符号の存在が分かったことになった。
2.3元体上の自己双対符号の分類
自己双対符号の分類問題をユニモジュラー格子のフレームの分類問題に帰着させる方法を確立することが出来た。今までに行なわれていた自己双対符号の分類でのテプローチとは全く異なった新たなアプローチであり、色々な場合に新たに分類を行なうことが期待出来る。実際には、今までに知られていた24次元と28次元のユニモジュラー格子の分類結果を用いて、これらの格子の3フレームを分類することによって、3元体上の長さ24の自己双対符号の分類および長さ28の極値的自己双対符号の分類を新たに行なうことが出来た。
