Research Abstract

本年度は最終年であるので,前年度までの研究の成果をまとめ,いくつかの論文にて公表した。本研究課題に関する主要な研究成果は,以下のとおりである。
1.これまでの定説である高温(10億度程度)環境下におけるrプロセスとは異なる,低温環境下(1億度程度)におけるrプロセス(コールドrプロセス)のメカニズムを提唱した.コールドrプロセスでは,これまで考えられていたrプロセスの条件,(1)高温環境下における,中性子捕獲と光分解の熱平衡,(2)高密度環境下における,ベータ崩壊に対する中性子捕獲の優位が成り立たない.それにも関わらず,太陽系や金属欠乏星のrプロセス組成比が再現されることを示した.この結果は,これまで考えられていたrプロセスのコンセプトは一部修正される必要があることを示している.
2.太陽質量の8〜10倍の星の進化の終焉であるONeMgコアの重力崩壊型超新星における元素合成の研究を行った。1次元数値流体計算による詳細なニュートリノ輸送を考慮した結果(パラメーターを用いずに爆発した,これまでで唯一の例)を用いた.(1)56Niの質量が0.002〜0.004太陽質量程度であり,通常の超新星(0.1太陽質量程度)に比べて極端に少ない.これより,ONeMg超新星は,暗い超新星(SNI997Dなど)や,かに超新星(SN1054)の起源である可能性がある.(2)亜鉛や軽いpプロセス核の生成量が際立っている.これより,ONeMg超新星は,今だに起源が明らかでない64Znや92Moの主要な生成源である可能性がある.
