Research Abstract

森林総合研究所微生物生態研究室が所有する「サルノコシカケ類」の現在の分類体系における主要な属74属約300種より、基準種およびアジアを中心に汎熱帯域、熱帯から亜熱帯にかけて分布する種、あるいはアジア地域の温帯から冷温帯にかけて分布する種について、核リボソームDNAのLSU(Large subunit)領域の部分塩基配列、5.8S領域を含むITS(lnternal transcribed spacer)領域、EF1α(Elongation factorl alfa)領域の部分塩基配列について決定した。「サルノコシカケ類」のなかでも、分類学的に混乱している属、コンプレックス種をふくむ属について、欧米産と日本(アジア)産種との関係を明らかにすることを目的として、複数領域を用いて属内の系統関係を明らかにした、特に重大な樹木病原菌をふくむ属であるHeterobasidion属、重要な木材腐朽菌であり食用菌でもあるLaetiporus属については、複数領域の塩基配列に基づく系統関係より属内種の分類学的再検討を行い、それぞれ2種の未記載種を整理した。これらのコンプレックス種を含む分類の混乱している属の種について、種に特異的な配列を明らかにすることによってDNA塩基配列からの種の同定を可能にした。
