Outline of Annual Research Achievements

H29.4~H30.3時間領域多重量子テレポーテーションの為には扱う時間波束幅を小さくすればするほど、実験系を小型化することができ安定化が容易になるうえ、将来これを用いて量子コンピューターをつくるとき、演算のクロック周波数を上げることができる。現在のコンピューターのクロック周波数は数GHzであるため、将来の量子コンピュータの目標としてはそれを上回る帯域が期待されている。光を情報のキャリアとして用いた場合、その周波数は100THzを越えることから、原理的には10THzのクロック周波数を持つ光量子コンピューターが可能となっている。ただし、現状では量子テレポーテーション装置の帯域は10MHz程度であるため、本研究では平成29度は量子テレポーテーション装置を100MHzに広帯域化するための要素技術開発を行った。これは時間波束幅として通常100ナノ秒であったものを10ナノ秒に縮めることに相当する。

これを可能にするためには量子テレポーテーションに必要な量子もつれの帯域幅を100MHzに広げ、量子テレポーテーションに必要なホモダイン測定、およびその測定結果に基づき量子もつれの片側を操作するフィードフォワードの帯域も100MHzにする必要がある。これらを目指しH29年度には、100MHzの帯域で動作する光パラメトリック発振器の開発、100MHzの帯域で動作するホモダイン検出器の開発、100MHzの帯域で安定して動作するフィードフォワード系の構築を行いそれらに成功した。

H30年度はこれらをさらに高性能化することに成功した。
