| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We conducted a prospective study to rapidly and efficiently explore risk and preventive factors of disabling dementia using a dementia follow-up system based on data of the long-term care insurance system in seven regional cohort studies. As a result of preliminary meta-analyses, blood pressure, diabetes, atrial fibrillation and smoking were found to be associated with the incidence of dementia.

要介護認知症をエンドポイントとした縦断的な分析を行うことにより、認知症予防に関する新しい知見が得られ、超高齢化社会における保健指導を行う上での新たなエビデンスを得る。
