Outline of Final Research Achievements |
A novel bearingless motor drive system has been developed for improving energy-saving of bearingless motors. The proposed high-speed single-drive bearingless motor has possibility of high efficiency because the copper loss is reduced. The prototype machine and the dedicated controller have been developed and tested. In the experimental results, high rotational speed up to 30,000 r/min and high efficiency have been successfully demonstrated.

温室効果ガス排出量削減および省エネルギー化において,モータの高効率化は必要不可欠である。一方,一般的なベアリング付きモータは,機械的な接触があるため,小形・高速化と高効率化の間にはトレードオフがあり両立は困難である。本研究成果は,従来技術では実現困難であったモータの小形・高速化と高効率化を両立する新しいベアリングレスモータドライブシステムの有効性を実証した点であり,学術的および社会的価値が高い。
