Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we developed various novel NMR methods to analyze the dynamic structures of high molecular weight proteins under physiological in situ conditions and applied these methods to biologically important membrane proteins such as G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), ion channels, and multidrug resistance transporters. As a result, we successfully elucidated the regulatory mechanisms underlying the function of these membrane proteins based on dynamic structural information.
