Outline of Annual Research Achievements

29年度は、酒井弘氏、折田奈甫氏と協力して日本語の証拠性を表す文末表現の自然さ判断テストのサーベイを行い、証拠性の解釈に、因果関係が深くかかわることを明らかにし、Causal Premise Semanticsを用いて証拠性に形式意味論的定義を与えた論文を執筆した。Mental Architecture for Processing and Learning of Language (MAPLL) and Tokyo Conference on Psycholinguistics (TCP) 2017ワークショップ、Logic and Engineering of Natural Language Semantics 14およびThe 21st Amsterdam Colloquiumといった国際学会で発表した。The 2nd Asian Junior Linguistics conferenceにおいては、plenary speakerとして招聘講演をおこなった。さらに、証拠性と因果関係の相関性を示すため、コーパス分析を行い、国立国語研究所で行われた、 Prosody and Grammar Festa 2で成果を発表した。29年度後半は、次年度実施予定の証拠性文末表現のEEG実験の準備を行った。また、De Gruyter Moutonから出版される、Handbook of Japanese Semantics and Pragmaticsに寄稿するEvidentialityの章を執筆した。
また、推量を表す文末モダリティ「だろう」と疑問文との共起関係をInquisitive Semanticsを用いて分析した論文をThe 25th Japanese/Korean Linguistics Conferenceで発表した。
さらに、広東語の選言を表す助詞および、疑問文の種類を示す助動詞の自然さ判断テストのサーベイを行い、EEGのパイロット実験を香港城市大学で行った。また、話題を示す助詞「は」と条件文の類似性について、国際基督教大学で開催されたWorkshop on Altaic Formal Linguistics 13において、plenary speakerとして招聘講演を行った。さらに、佐野勝彦氏と共著で、条件疑問文の形式意味論の分析を行い、Inquisitiveness Below and Beyond the Sentence Boundaryで発表した。
