| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed to identify factors that influence community orientation(CO) and to propose a CO education program utilizing the scale, Community Orientation among Community Health Nurses in Fiji.
A 1.5-day program was developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Medical Services Fiji. The program was conducted four times for 78 participants from August to September 2018. The qualitative analysis identified three categories of CO influencing factors; material resources, structure, and educational support. The educational program was received high satisfaction from the participants.The results of this program were analyzed using mixed research methods.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
COCHN尺度を用いた教育プログラムにより地域保健看護師の地域のニーズに基づいた地域保健活動への認識が向上する。具体的活用法は以下である。1. 尺度を地域保健看護師のリフレクションツールとして活用でき、新任期においても保健活動を行うために必要な考え方、姿勢、価値観が理解でき、自己の改善点が明らかになる. 2. 職場でのケーススタディの分析ツール、指導者のコーチングツールとして活用することにより、経験の浅い指導者でも具体的に指導できる.3. 影響要因は環境整備や人事配置について活用できる.4．本研究の成果は地理的・教育的背景の類似する大洋州島嶼国の地域保健活動支援の際の基礎となり得る。
