超重力理論に基づいた非等方インフレーションの再構築とバースト的重力波生成

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

昨年度、背景重力波の起源を区別するためにパルサータイミングアレイを用いた非ガウス性検出理論を構築した。今年度は、パルサータイミングアレイが、重力波のみならずダークマターなどの重力現象検出に応用できることに着目し、パルサータイミングアレイを用いた超軽量ベクトルダークマター検出理論を構築した。超軽量ベクトルダークマターはコアカスプ問題などを解決するダークマターとして、超軽量アクシオンダークマターと並んで注目されている。本研究では、超軽量ベクトルダークマターが銀河に分布している状況を考え、ベクトルダークマターの向きに依存した非等方なシグナルについて議論した。さらに、複数のパルサーを用いることによって非等方なシグナルの検出が可能であることを示した。本研究はarXivに投稿されている。

また、当初予定になかった研究も進めることができて、宇宙膨張を利用した次元降下の可能性についての研究を論文として発表した。

高次元宇宙を考えたとき、我々の住む4次元のみ膨張し、残りの余剰次元は静止するような(安定)解をつくることは難しいことが知られていた。本研究では、カスクトン場が存在するときに、上の状況を満たす(安定)解を作れることを示した。
